Adult Day Services
Our Adult Day Services are designed to support the vibrant mental and social health of seniors living at home, facing physical, cognitive, or other health challenges. We aim to enrich lives through a variety of recreational and social activities, all supported by professional health services.
This program, funded by Interior Health, plays a crucial role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence, while providing much-needed support and respite for caregivers, allowing them the opportunity to recharge and manage other obligations.
Enrichment activities may include:
- Social interaction and discussion groups
- Exercises and fitness classes
- Arts, crafts and other hobbies
- Music and entertainment
- Cooking and baking
- Bus outings to local destinations
- Seasonal outdoor activities
Nutritious meals, coffee, refreshments and snacks are provided throughout the program.
Sample Lunches:
- Creamy tomato soup and grilled cheese
- Chili with fresh buns and butter
- Chef salad with a turkey sandwich
- Coffee or tea
Sample Desserts:
- Strawberries and cream
- Tangy lemon squares
- Decadent dessert bars
